The funding catapults Zama to unicorn status with a valuation exceeding $1 billion, marking a watershed moment for FHE adoption in blockchain.
The capital will accelerate the launch of Zama Protocol, enabling confidential smart contracts on any blockchain. A public testnet for FHE-based applications is slated for July 2025, addressing growing demand for privacy-preserving financial infrastructure.
